
Elizabeth Hoffman House is a community-controlled organisation operated by an elected Committee of Management.
Elizabeth Hoffman House is managed by a management Committee who are elected at the Annual General Meeting by women from the Aboriginal community. Office Bearers are also elected at this meeting.
The role of the Management Committee is to oversee the management of the organisation including services delivery, staff issues, financial issues and to ensure that the service is meeting all the requirements outlined in it's service and funding agreement. The management Committee is the policy making body and the CEO is responsible for the implementation of policy making and the day to day management of the service. All decisions in relation to service delivery and staffing are communicated by the manager to the staff, although Committee members have regular formal and informal contact with all staff.

Christin has a Diploma in medical practice. She has 20 years of experience in Indigenous services 10 years of management experience, as well as long term experience in governance. Christine is a key executive member of the board of directors, offering direct support in attendance at key meetings and consultative roles with community.

Simone Andy
Yorta Yorta woman from Cummeragunja. Simone comes from an Early Childhood background working in the field for 5 years. Simone completed a Certificate III in Children Services. In 2006 she was recognised for her achievements in her studies and was awarded the Victorian Early Childhood Management Services Scholarship.
In 2008 Simone completed the Certificate IV in Business Frontline Management with the Swinburne University, an introduction to Governance Management Simone's community involvement includes: member of the Victorian Indigenous Youth Advisory Committee, director for the Elizabeth Hoffman House Aboriginal Women's Services a women's refuge service. Simone is also the co-director of a small business TurtleWren Creations. Simone's passion is to learn more about Health and Early Childhood issues.
Simone is now in the Health Sector; and has been employed at VACCHO for over 2 year now and loves it. Simone's role at VACCHO is the Project Officer for the Koori Maternity Strategy. Simone's role includes: supporting and advocating for the Koori Maternity services throughout Victoria, planning an annual workers forum, building partnerships with mainstream organizations, creating culturally appropriate resources and forming networks.
Kimba Thompson
Kimba is a filmmaker, freelance producer and arts consultant. She has worked on a broad range of projects addressing a variety of contemporary issues. Kimba explores the use of mediums to tell story, continuing to push the question of what Aboriginal Art is, into the public eye and create pathways and narratives for dialogue. Kimba formed Sista Girl Productions, an Indigenous Arts and Broadcast company in 1997. Has been actively involved with EHHAWS for the past 7 years.
